I hold a Doctor of Education in Instructional Design and Technology and an Education Specialist degree from South College, an MBA from Virginia Wesleyan University, and a B.A. in Sociology and Business Management from Elms College. That combination of behavioral science, business strategy, and learning theory shapes every project I take on.
Over 13+ years in learning technology and learning design roles, I’ve worked across corporate L&D, K-12 education, and higher education, building everything from SCORM-compliant onboarding modules to full university LMS UX overhauls. That work pulled me upstream, toward the platforms and data behind the learning. Today I design adaptive learning solutions, scoping and prototyping what development teams build.
I’m also an early and deliberate adopter of AI-augmented learning design, using tools like Claude, Synthesia, and LLM workflows to accelerate production without compromising rigor.
I work fully remote. Through Mfuko Learning & Development, I partner with organizations on learning ecosystem reviews, program architecture, and training evaluation.
